About Kids’ Jam family music workshop Creator and Teacher Lui Collins
Kids’ Jam creator Lui Collins began making music as a child, and went on to study piano, violin, French horn, guitar and banjo. She studied Music Theory and Composition at the University of Connecticut. She has been performing and recording professionally for over 35 years, and has 8 solo CDs to her credit. Ms. Collins trained with Music Together of Princeton in 2002 and founded Hilltown Music Together, now Lui Collins’ Upside-Up Music, the following spring. In 2005 she was awarded Music Together Certification I status for outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education.
